About Us

McAlester, Oklahoma

Warm wood, cabin manners.

The Rusty Cabin is a small furniture store in McAlester, Oklahoma. We offer cabin-style solid wood furniture — consoles, TV stands, vanities, dining and coffee tables, desks, tree bookshelves, mantels, wine racks, benches and coat racks — built new to order and shipped free across the contiguous United States.

Why cabin-style furniture

A cabin is where furniture gets used hard: wet swimsuits on the bench, muddy boots by the door, card games on the coffee table and long dinners when the whole family comes to the lake.

So we look for pieces that welcome that kind of life — solid hardwood you can feel, visible grain and live edges, and oil finishes that can be refreshed at home. The weathered, “rusty” warmth is in the design; the furniture itself is always brand new.

What we build

Dining tables, coffee tables & desks — live-edge and farmhouse dining tables, coffee and side tables, and desks.
Bookshelves, mantels & wine racks — tree-branch bookshelves, live-edge wall shelves, fireplace mantels and wine racks.
Consoles, TV stands & vanities — rustic entry consoles, media and record stands, bar cabinets and bathroom vanities.
Benches, coat racks, lamps & doors — entry benches, tree coat racks, accent chairs, wood floor lamps, wall art and carved doors.
